Mark Robinson col quale sono cresciuto a suon di Unrest (fine anni '80), Air Miami(1994-95) e la sua etichetta Teenbeat, ha pubblicato proprio in questi giorni un nuovo lp "Origami and Urbanism". Gli mp3 scaricati confermano lo stile del ragazzo di Washington DC: chitarra lo-fi, accenni d'elettronica e duetti la la la.

Per mesi me li sono tenuti stretti, a parte qualche brano registrato ad amici: e’ venuto il tempo di condividerli. Si chiamano
ADULT. (proprio col punto) ed incidono per la magica Ersatz records di Detroit. Sicuramnete cio’ che Fischerspooner avrebbe sognato di fare, ma non l’ha mai fatto. Un duo formato da Nicola Kuperus e Adam Lee Miller, che riprende in chiave 2000 il post-punk, i Kraftwerk, l’elettronica italiana anni ’80 (ricordate Krisma, n.o.i.a.) e l’elettro clash di due anni fa e ne fa un perfetto genere nuovo, fresco che non permette lo star fermi. Da segnalare le bellissime foto di tutte le copertine che ritraggono gli esseri umani come fossero dei perfetti manichini. A Milano, la citta’ europea, ancora i dj, quelli piu’ “alternativi”, non sanno neanche chi sono. Io ballo olona a casa mia con lo stereo a palla. Fatelo anche voi: play loud!
